Each wedding is very different, so I like to discuss with the bride and groom, or whoever is making the arrangements about the plans for the big day, and to make sure you receive plenty of ideas, hints and advice on some of the options available, making your special day traditional, unique, and individual  

I have over thirty years piping experience, having played in various local Pipe bands as well as the Army, and have been providing professional wedding services for many years .

Fees And Costs

Sometimes couples are concerned about the cost of hiring a Piper, and in some cases with groups and agencies ,things can get a bit complicated as regards prices, contracts, and who’s actually turning up on the day.

There is a discount for midweek weddings, and a additional £30 for Glasgow area weddings.

What Happens on the Day

The fee is for before the ceremony, through the afternoon, to piping the bride and groom into dinner, here’s an example of the traditional duties:

• Playing as your guest’s arrive at the Church or the Hotel
• Playing as the bride arrives
• Piping the bride up and down the aisle ( ideal for hotel weddings)
• Playing outside the Church after the wedding
• Playing in the hotel grounds during photographs and drinks
• Piping the top table into dinner
• Piping the Bride and Groom into dinner or to the cake
